A hybrid performance and cinematic work within the ongoing cis animal research project, which explores the durability and fragility of the male construct — and its potential for decomposition — in less-built environments. Moving between forest imagery and Butoh-inflected performance, the piece traces a passage through longing, grief, collapse, and uneasy rebirth, staged as theatre before the majestic indifference of the more-than-human surround.
